“Over 60 and loving it.” That’s how Kim Vardas describes herself.
On Instagram, Kim is constantly sharing her new looks, new outfits, new fashion pieces and new adventures with her audience.
As our newest Boom Ambassador, Kim is sharing how she uses Boom today.
Kim is starting with absolutely no makeup. She’s demonstrating how she uses all three Boomsticks to go from a fresh face to ready to go—in less than five minutes. (Even more impressive, she’s applying all three Boomsticks without her glasses or a mirror.)

5-Minute Demo: How She Applies Her Boomsticks Without Her Glasses (or a Mirror)

Hi, my name is Kim, and I'm going to talk to you today about Boomsticks—the Boomstick Trio to be exact. Here we go.
I’m going to take my glasses off, because I actually don’t need to see to do this. My face—freshly washed. I don’t have a stitch of makeup on.
I’m going to show you the process that I go through every morning.
So first, I start with Boomstick Glo. It’s literally moisturizer in a tube. So I take the moisturizer and I put it on the areas of my face that I want to be moisturized, including my eyes and my under-eye area.
Now, these tubes are wonderful. You can throw them in your purse, which is what I’m planning to do when I fly to Portland this summer. I’m planning on having this Boomstick Glo in my purse so that if I get dry on the flight, I just pull it out and add a little moisturizer to my skin.
The moisturizer is made in Hawaii by beekeepers. The beekeepers discovered that inside the beehives, there were all these fabulous things that are wonderful for your skin. So they are using those to create products for our skin.
Alright, the next product is Color. And the Color at first look—looks very dark. But it is very sheer.
So this Color is perfect no matter if you’re very pale or the darkest skin tone there is. Everywhere in between.
It’s so simple to use! You just put a little bit on your cheekbones, a little bit up there, a little bit down the sides of your neck. And then rub it in.
These are all the areas that are hit by the sun, so you want to highlight those areas on your face. It looks dark when you first put it on, because you’re rubbing your skin. But it is very, very simple to use. There.
The third and final product is Glimmer. I use the Glimmer every day. I love it. I put it on my eyes. I put it on my cheekbones. All the different areas that I want to be radiant, that I want my skin to be radiant.
I have to say: Since I’ve been using this Trio of products, I have had so many compliments on my skin. “Oh you have beautiful skin.” And that has made me very happy.
Then I’m going to put a little of the Color—you can use it also on your lips—a little of the Color on my lips and all I would have to do is add a little Glimmer to the center lip, and add a little mascara, and I’m ready to go.
