Meet Terri: The Hair She Always Wanted

Terri always wanted a certain hair color—and everyone tried to talk her out of it. At 58, she finally has her wish.

So, my hair is sort of dirty-blond, and I always, in my whole life, wanted to be platinum. 

Everybody said, "No, don't do it. It ruins your hair. If it's a mistake, we can't repair it easily." But my hairdresser said, "Yeah, sure, let's do it." I gave myself a month to think about it.

It's been the greatest thing because I have so much gray. So, I can let this go for months and months and months, and it just all blends in. I think it just lights me up.

This is very close to what I think my color would be if I had let it go, so it's been a great decision.
