As a teacher and mentor, Renee loves giving back to the next generation of young women. She loves watching these young girls discover (and own) exactly who they are.

For me, what it means to teach and/or to mentor is… I feel like I've had such a blessed life, and to be able to give back is just so super-exciting to me.

And to be able to watch the students that I actually… Most of them are young girls, young women, and they're trying to find their way.

They’re like: "Well, Miss Renee, my voice isn't strong enough," or, "Maybe I'm too short," or, "I'm too thin or too skinny." And I'm like: "No, you are the way that God made you to be. Do you. Don't worry about it."

It excites me when they take it, and they own it. And they're like, "Hey, it's okay to be me, and it's okay to do what I love to do."

It just fills my heart to be able to give back to that next generation because I had that.
