Society loves to tell women that we will lose value as we age.
As Ashton says: we can give in to this assumption, or we can challenge this bias. At 65, Ashton chooses to challenge it.

Women, because we are judged so harshly by our appearance, do devalue, if we buy the assumption that to age is to lose value as a human being and that youth is exclusively the domain of the young, which I don't think it is.
These are culturally constructed ideas. That means we make them up.
And until you start to see your own bias, you don't get anywhere, because we can't challenge bias unless we are aware of it. And these are new ideas to most people.
But, once you start to see it, you start to see it everywhere. And you come to see that it's not your personal problem if you have wrinkles, or if you are not, you know, doing it right.
There is no right way to age.
