Kelli Grant: Pro-age Means Being Proactive
Kelli Grant: Pro-age
Means Being Proactive
Have you met Boom Ambassador Kelli Grant?
This 58-year-old Texas gal teaches chair yoga, line dance fitness and aqua fitness.
Keeping up with Kelli is no easy task.
“I know it may sound cliché to say you’re never too old to set a new goal or dream a new dream,” Kelli says, “But it’s actually really very true.”
When she was 46, Kelli decided to take an acting class. She was absolutely terrified of public speaking at the time but she stretched herself and kept at it.
11 years later, she’s performed in 30 stage productions—many of them as the lead!
Kelli says, “I discovered that the times I was most vibrant and alive were the times I was tackling my biggest challenges.”
This encourages her to keep challenging herself. “I like to ask myself,” she says, “Where do I want to be in five years? What do I want to be doing and what steps do I need to take to get there?”
Kelli’s pro-age lifestyle includes being proactive about her physical, spiritual and emotional health.
After being an aqua fitness instructor for some time, her desire to stay active and keep learning led her to add new certifications in chair yoga and line dance fitness.
Now she begins every morning with 40 minutes of dance.
Kelli says, “For me, being pro-age is about being intentional about being active and healthy, continually setting new goals and dreaming new dreams.”
We love Kelli’s enthusiasm and pro-age philosophy.
