What Do You Wish Someone Had Told You About Menopause?

Did you know what to expect from menopause?

Many women don’t.

There was a time when women passed their personal stories about menopause from grandmother to daughter to granddaughter.

While many doctors ignored menopause or treated it like a disease, behind the scenes women shared wisdom and knowledge about what to expect and how to manage symptoms among family members and friends.

But as we move further and further away from tight communities and multi-generational living, that becomes less common.

Now, up to 70% of women say they have no one to talk to about menopause.

We believe this important phase of a woman’s life shouldn’t be shrouded in mystery… and talking about it shouldn’t be taboo.

We also think women’s personal experiences are our best sources of wisdom about this critical transition.

So we wondered…What do you wish someone had told you about menopause?

Whether you’re pre- or post-menopausal or going through menopause now… We invite you to share your experience with other women in the Boom community.
