Do you have intuition—and do you trust it?
Women’s intuition is a phenomenon in which women appear to know something instinctually, without consciously reasoning it through.
Whether you call it a gut feeling, a sixth sense or a hunch, many women are able to tap into a source of wisdom and judgment that looks and feels effortless.
Unfortunately, women’s intuition is often discounted.
As a result, many of us don’t learn to trust our gut feelings until we’re much older. Our founder, Cindy Joseph, spoke of how trust in our intuition grows as we age.
“I love this idea of all that energy inside of us that isn't being used anymore for other things, that we just let it loose and mix it with our intuition, our women's intuition,” Cindy said. “I finally started trusting it at about 45, and it's amazing what can happen.”
Today, we want to take a moment to highlight and honor your intuition.
We invite you to share about a time that you used your instincts to make a good choice in your own life or to help others.
Whether it was trusting your gut on a medical concern or your intuition about a new acquaintance, we want to hear about it.
In the comments below, share your story about how trusting your gut, your instincts or your intuition helped you or someone else.
Then stick around to hear other women’s stories and help us honor women’s intuition as it deserves.
(We may highlight some of these stories in a future post, so please share with that in mind.)
