Cynthia Sitcov is a 65-year-old from Virginia.

Cynthia owned and managed a successful business for many years. After she retired, she became an influencer and “slow-fashion” advocate.

Her love of timeless style reflects her pro-age mindset. Cynthia likes to show off her collection of stylish coats and jackets on Instagram, many of which are 45 to 50 years old.

This fashionista has cultivated a “sustainable closet” filled with high-quality and well-cared-for older and consignment pieces.

In the video below, Cynthia shares how she embraced a pro-age mindset and discovered her signature look.

Cynthia decided to grow out her silver hair when she was in her late 40s.

Not everyone was initially 100% on board with her decision, including her husband.

But Cynthia held firm. She says, “I wanted to see how I looked as a person with natural-colored hair.”

The results were stunning. “I was really transformed. I felt very invigorated and emboldened,” Cynthia says.

Cynthia saved a lot of money and found her natural hair better matched the tone of her skin.

She also started getting unexpected compliments. She says, “Women came up to me in the grocery store saying, ‘Yeah! I love your hair.’ And I’d say, ‘You could do this, too.’”

Cynthia credits Boom for supporting her pro-age mindset and look.

“Boom products really fit into my philosophy of getting older, and that is: being pro-age,” she says.

“I’m all for embracing this period of my life and I am happily silver-haired!”
