Boom's Message: Why Is It Important?

“You are beautiful at every age, in every decade of your life.”

Here at BOOM!, that is our message. But why is this pro-age message so important? What does it mean for women all over the world?

We asked nine women these questions. Watch the video to hear their answers.

Jeni: The Boom message is important for women to hear because it empowers women to just be who they are.

Yaa: The message is so, so, so important. It really is.

Polly: I really appreciate what BOOM! is doing.

Martine: It's important for more women to hear the message because what's out there now is all about stopping yourself from aging.

Shira: Every woman needs to hear the Boom message be pro-age, be pro-you.

Rosalyn: I think it's high time that women are not ashamed of getting older.

Charlotte: If we feel like a beautiful woman is only beautiful from ages 18 to 30, what are we all doing here anyway? I mean, come one, we all want to live long lives. So as a society, I think we need to have a shift in how we think about beauty, and what is beautiful, and I think the Boom message is critical, and I think the time is now.

Joy: I think it's very important the women become aware, especially women my age, Boomers, become aware of the power that we have.

Patricia: I saw an interview with Cindy where they asked her, "Why BOOM!? Why the name BOOM!?" And she said, "It's the sound of a revolution."
