Step 1 – Start with clean skin
Vanessa starts with clean, fresh skin.
Before you perform any facial massage, gently cleanse your skin to remove dirt, excess oil and makeup and avoid pressing it into pores, creating blockages.
Boom Clean does all of this without drying your skin. We leave out SLS, SLES and other harsh cleansers to leave your skin feeling soft and clean, not dry or tight.
Step 2 – Exfoliate
Your skin is constantly shedding old cells.
Exfoliating can help remove these cells to even skin tone, soften texture and help your skincare products absorb better.
Massage Boom Scrub into your face, neck and décolletage and wait five minutes before rinsing to deep clean pores and soften dry skin.
Step 3 – Boom Gold
Apply a dropperful of Boom Gold to your skin before your massage. Our organic facial oil softens and nourishes the skin and allows your gua sha stone or roller to glide easily across your skin without dragging, pulling or tugging.
Boom Gold is made with honey, raspberry seed oil and sandalwood oil to help soothe inflammation, promote collagen production and deeply hydrate without a heavy or greasy finish.
Step 4 – Perform massage
Glide the gua sha stone from the center of the face and nose outward and from the base of the neck towards the face, moving fluids upwards and outwards.
For a contouring effect, use the stone angles on the cheekbones and jawline, gliding back from the center of your face towards the hairline several times.
Remember to be extremely gentle to avoid marking or damaging your skin. If you feel tugging or pulling, reduce pressure and/or add more Boom Gold.
Step 5 – Rinse and moisturize
Finally, rinse your skin with warm water and apply a protective moisturizer with beeswax, like Boomsilk.
