I totally got the inspiration to be PRO AGE when I first learned about Cindy Joseph's amazing story.  All my life, I was conditioned to believe that aging diminishes us.  I am a Yoga teacher who teaches Vinyasa and Restorative yoga for all levels. My teaching philosophy is in trying or learning something new, meet yourself where you are. Knowing where you are starting from enables us to determine where we want to go.  Allow ourselves to make mistakes and forgive ourselves because we are human. Yoga is a science that helps you calm the nervous system, relax the mind, be in total present time inhabiting the body, feel your heart open up and align with your spirit, your own seat of Divinity. 

In the past, most of us were subjected to " aspirational marketing"-- the culture that perpetuates " I have to be skinny enough, rich enough, young enough to be happy"  So the stance of Cindy Joseph and Boom was a total gamechanger!!! Yes, why do we have to fight what is inevitable, when we can embrace it! I am also a very happy and proud Grandmother of a four-year-old toddler who lives a fun and precocious life in Willamsburg, Brooklyn. She even gave me a unique name " LALA" a derivative of the Filipino address for Grandmother which is "Lola".  I love to cook and garden. I have a small veggie garden and grow roses.

I am so grateful and am on my knees every day for the gift of life.  I am so happy I can help spread the message that AS I AGE, I BECOME MORE MYSELF!
