I was so happy to find BOOM! By Cindy Joseph. It falls right in line with my way of thinking: Pro Age and Girl Power, Baby! 

Whenever I’m asked my age, I have to stop and think (thank goodness I was born in a year ending in ‘0’ so the math is easy). 

I have been just as busy after 50 as I was before. At 55 I was the first woman inducted into the RI Comedy Hall of Fame, at 56 I started producing all-female comedy shows sponsored by female-owned businesses and donating a portion of the ticket price to female-based charities, at 58 I had my first book, ‘Confessions of a Working Girl or How to Get Laid…OFF’ (available on Amazon) published, and at 61 I’m still performing, and about to launch a new TV show, and became a BOOM! Ambassador! Oy, I need a nap. Patting myself on the back is exhausting. 

But my proudest accomplishments are my kids, Devlin and Sean, and what makes me happy is living happily ever after with Frank and our dog, Al.

My point is, I will not slow down any time soon. I will not stop learning and growing as long as I am physically able to. I’m still having too much fun! BOOM!
