Beauty Tactics You Ditched After 50
Beauty Tactics You
Ditched After 50
Fashion and beauty trends are fascinating, aren’t they?
Whether you consider yourself trendy or not, you probably sported at least a few popular fads throughout your life. Maybe you applied lots of blue eyeshadow and teased your hair up big in the 80s.
While trends can be really fun during their time, you have probably wouldn’t do them again.
There are also many beauty trends, techniques and products that don’t have the same effect after 50 as they did at 20 or 30.
Powder makeup, for example, tends to settle into fine lines and creases as we age, emphasizing them.
Likewise, heavy foundation, concealer and even eyeliner can begin to look very different on our changing skin and features after 50.
We’re curious… What’s a beauty tactic or technique you used in your 20s and 30s you’d never use today? Tell us about it in the comments below.
We’ll share them with our Boom community in a later post!
