Then we wake up one day and there it all is, staring back at us in the mirror. The changes you might notice, like crepey, saggy skin or heavy lines, are natural and normal. But that doesn’t always make it easy to accept.
Luckily, your skin is resilient and strong. With just a few adjustments to your routine, your skin can rebound to look and feel softer, smoother and tighter.
1. Vitamin A in your skincare routine
If you have crepey skin, products containing vitamin A can help. Skin is “retinoid responsive,” which means it easily converts topical vitamin A to active forms of retinoid in your skin. Try this easy one:
Raise your chin and look up towards the ceiling. Then, make an exaggerated kissing sound and motion. Repeat this ten times a couple of times a week.
5. Apply products upwards (never downwards) to reduce sagging skin.

6. A facial roller to boost lymphatic drainage
A gua sha tool or facial roller can help drain puffiness and stimulate circulation and collagen production in your neck.
First, apply a lightweight oil, like Boom Gold, to help your tool glide more easily across the skin.
Then, place the edge of a gua sha stone or facial roller perpendicular to the skin at the base of your neck and gently stroke upwards to the chin, working against gravity. Repeat this gentle motion 5 to 10 times daily to tighten the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
